A path to help me find my way; to help me from getting lost in all the hurley-burley of the day-to-day schedules of comings and goings.
May I always remember how to find my way back to this bench ...

WATERCOLOR CLASS 2

The order of the day, the agenda of the class, the challenge - if you should choose to accept it ... Perspective and vanishing points. Keep those buildings, benches, poles, and fences standing straight and tall rather than tipping over or falling forward. I'm not sure if that is easier with pencil, paint and paper, with building blocks, or with hammer, nails, and lumber.

WATERCOLOR CLASS 1: AUGUST

I had such a good time in my watercolor class during the month of July at the Berkshire Botanical Gardens I decided to go ahead and sign up for the next session during the month of August. Our assignment for the first class this month: TREES. We are to concentrate on the shapes and textures of the trees we've chosen to paint trying to capture the magic on paper.

0811: purple ... any one have any ideas as to what kind of bug this is? I was first attracted to the purple flowers (aka: today's prompt) and then I saw the dragonfly-butterfly-bee-like bug. If you know anything about this little/big-big-for-a-bug creature, please leave a comment.

later: aha, mystery solved! When we put our collective minds together we can pretty much figure out anything along with a little bit of help from google images :)

0809: messy ... oh my, I wonder if I will ever get everything unpacked and organized ... sigh ... think I need to have my dearest friend Juanita (happy birthday to you on this day, you're the bestest of the best, Juanita) come and visit for a spell :) She could always get me focused and back on track.

0808: glasses ... one of my favorite additions when finishing the kitchen-dining area was adding the built-in china cupboard for displaying all my glassware and dishes ...

0807: 8 o'clock ... yep, that's when I could fit in the grocery shopping this morning ... love the list feature on my phone; makes life a little easier all the way around for several different kinds of lists a girl needs to have on hand at any given moment and cuts down on the clutter of all the little bits and pieces of paper in the bottom of my bag or on the top of my desk.

0806: writing ... tough to keep up on the journaling and arting these days but am managing to carve a few minutes out during the quiet morning hours to get down a sketch and note or two.
